Toronto taxi drivers protest against Uber and the city lack of bylaws enforcement regarding the rival company.
The protest blocked the intersection of Queen St. and Bay St. in downtown Toronto affecting the routinary commuting of Torontonians.
A temporary resolution happened at about 7.00 pm when the Mayor John Tory arranged a meeting between the taxi drivers and the Chief of Police Mark Saunders. The meeting was conditioned to the protest end before 7.30 pm.
